Manufacturers' Representative for Wastewater & Water Treatment Companies
THREE GENERATIONS WITH A COMMON PHILOSOPHY: SUCCESS IS MEASURED BY OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE, PERSONAL INTEGRITY AND INDUSTRY LEADING TECHNOLOGIES
In 1970 Bruce Hamlett opened Hamlett Engineering Sales Company, a Michigan manufacturers' representative company that promotes engineered equipment and processes from leading wastewater and water treatment companies. Bruce established his successful business based on his technical expertise and maintained it with his uncompromised integrity. Randy Hamlett joined his father's company in 1988, leaving a blossoming sales engineering position selling robotic automation to Ford Motor Company.
Bruce and Randy worked together for a fast-paced, but brief 3 1/2 years before Bruce retired in early 1991. In 1995, Randy and his wife Sue decided to open Hamlett Environmental Technologies Company. Their vision was to provide improved focus towards "process" equipment that is manufactured by leading wastewater and water treatment companies.
"After learning from the best (my father), I decided that my personal strengths and career interests favored the process engineering side of the market. Opening Hamlett Environmental Technologies Company has turned out to be my second best career move, following my initial decision to work for my father. Even though Bruce retired in 1991, he continues to be one of my most valued strategic advisors and sounding boards".
Scott Kafka joined Hamlett Environmental Technologies in 1997, leaving a Project Manager position at Aqua-Aerobic Systems. Scott worked with Hamlett Environment while at Aqua-Aerobics Systems and aspired to work on the technical sales side of project engineering. Scott and his wife were also very happy to return to their roots, as both were born and raised in SE Michigan. Scott acquired his Michigan Professional Engineering License shortly after joining Hamlett Environmental, adding even greater technical strength to his already strong resume.
In October 2013, Hamlett Environmental Technologies brought in a third generation from the Hamlett family by adding Jennifer Wagner, Randy and Sue’s daughter. Jennifer joined Hamlett Environmental having over 6-years’ experience in outside sales, project management and technical expertise in pumps, valves and controls. Jennifer is assigned to work directly with Municipalities throughout Michigan to solve their water and wastewater process concerns.
Today our team at Hamlett Environmental Technologies Company is proud to continue a legacy of providing our customers with incomparable technical support and expertise that is backed by industry leading manufacturers of high-quality and innovative water and wastewater process equipment.
